About
Light A Girl Initiative is a grassroots, not-for-profit, community-based organization (CBO) committed to ending all forms of gender-based violence (GBV), including female genital mutilation/cutting (FGM/C), as well as child marriage and teen pregnancies. The organization also advocates for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), supports the emotional wellbeing of FGM survivors, and empowers women and girls through education and health initiatives.
